Choir Spring Concert
Please join us on Friday, May 15 at 7:00pm in the Acalanes PAC for the final choir concert of the year. Come celebrate our Acalanes singing seniors and enjoy an evening of choral music by our Acalanes Choir, Harmonix, Octet and more.


Acalanes Musicians perform at Jazz Cafe!
Please join us on Friday, May 15 for an evening of fantastic jazz performances at the Jazz Cafe at Stanley Middle School. Our instrumental Dons from the Acalanes Jazz Ensemble and Acalanes Jazz Combo are role models for the Stanley jazz bands who will also perform. Bring the entire family and settle in for a fabulous evening that will feature an array of performances from multiple bands and age ranges. This is a wonderful event for our community that is not to be missed!

Collage Concert on Thursday, May 21 in the PAC
Please save the date for our final performance of the year. On Thursday May 21 at 6:30pm in the Performing Arts Center, students will perform a beautiful collage of pieces, some showcasing specific ensembles. We invite you to this special evening as we cap off a fantastic year of music from our exceptional students at Acalanes.

The Acalanes Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band and Combined Band will be performing a variety of works from composers such as Antonio Vivaldi, Owen Williams, Gustav Holst, Percy Grainger, Joseph Strauss and Julie Giroux. Please join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening of enriching performances!

Acalanes Jazz Ensemble – Live at Yoshi’s Oakland
On Wednesday, April 22nd, the Acalanes Jazz Ensemble and two combos and the Campolindo High School Jazz Band are taking the stage at the legendary Yoshi’s Oakland, one of the Bay Area’s premier jazz venues. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for our students to perform in a world-class setting, and it’s going to be a fantastic show! 

Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the music starts at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $25. Here’s the link to purchase tickets.

Power Plays: The 2026 DramaDons’ Short Plays Festival!
Join us for an exciting evening of original theatre featuring eight short plays written and directed by DramaDons students. Each performance showcases student creativity, collaboration, and bold storytelling around this year’s theme of power.
Thursday, Mar 12 and Friday, Mar 13 at 7:00pm in the AHS Little Theatre.
All eight plays will be performed each night, and admission is free.

Performing Arts Boosters General Meeting

Parents are invited to attend this General Meeting to learn more about Performing Arts Boosters and how we support students and teachers. AHS Drama, Choral, and Instrumental Music teachers will share details about their classes, so bring your questions!
 
Performing Arts Boosters is actively recruiting board members for 2026-27. There is a place for all talents and we welcome parents to attend and get to know us!
