February APC Dons Dialogue
Thank you to all who attended our Dons Dialogue on Friday, Feb 20. It was a good turnout. This month’s topics included Project LPIE, CAASPP Testing review, the new digital hallpass system, and Q&A with Principal Shawn. If you were not able to attend, here are the slides.

Spring 2026 Grants Application Deadline Extended Again!

Acalanes Parents Club is looking to award grants that will enhance and enrich the educational experience of AHS students in new and innovative ways. Teachers, staff and students are encouraged to submit ideas for meaningful programs and educational equipment. Applications are now due by Friday, Feb 27. Join us on Friday, Feb 20 in the Collaboration Center for coffee, treats and informative dialogue! This month’s topics include;

The APC Dons Dialogues are the best way to stay in the loop with what is happening on campus, ask any questions you may have or just connect with the Acalanes community.

Community Service- Helper Helper Hours
Please continue to log your volunteer service hours in the Helper Helper app. If you see that you have some hours that have not been validated, it is up to you to contact the coordinator for the volunteer event and ask them to please validate them. Hours validated before April 17, 2026 will be counted in this awards period. Anything not validated by then will not be counted.
As a reminder, you will receive the Acalanes Service Award for completing at least 30 hours between the dates of Apr 19, 2025 and Apr 17, 2026. Any student completing 300 hours or more during their time at Acalanes is eligible for the Excellence Award and will receive a cord to wear at graduation. Please reach out to communityservice@acalanesparentsclub.org with any questions.

FINALS FUEL IN ACTION!
Thank you to all the families that contributed snacks, funds or time to hand out fun snacks and encouraging words to all our students between exams. This is a special Acalanes tradition and one of the best volunteer roles on campus. If you missed your opportunity to help this winter, don’t worry Finals Fuel will be back in the spring. Special thanks to our APC Finals Fuel Chair, Regan Scovic!

We have your students covered as they prepare to finish the semester strong! Please be sure to visit our APC website for even more information on all events planned to support our students through finals.
And don’t forget to encourage your student to take advantage of these resources:
- Peer Tutoring on Monday, Dec 15, regular hours (lunch, 7th period and after school until 4:00pm); and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Dec 16-18) from 12:50-3:00pm.
- The Wellness Center is open for students to drop in Monday, Dec 15, regular hours (8:00am to 4:00pm); and Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (Dec 16-19) from 8:00am to 1:00pm
- The Acalanes library’s hours during Finals Week are modifed:
- Tuesday, 12/16, 7:30-3:00 pm
- Wednesday, 12/17, 7:30-3:00 pm
- Thursday, 12/18, 7:30-1:00 pm
- Friday, 12/19, 7:30-1:00 pm
