Thank you to all who have read our section and may have participated in DEI events this school year. For many of us who are white and cis gender it took a lot of courage to admit we had been blind to the suffering, often inadvertently, afflicted on others in our human family. To those of you who are curious but were not able to join us, we invite you to join an event next year. We are constantly working on ideas for book clubs, special guest appearances, workshops and more. Have some great ideas? Consider joining one of our meetings, or email us. We are always looking for people to join us in the highly relevant work of DEI. Several positions are open. Please get in touch if you are interested.
This month we continue to recognize our AAPI friends and in June we celebrate LGBTQ+ pride. Have a happy and restful summer!

Have a wonderful summer! Be safe, have fun, relax, and can’t wait to see everyone back at Dons Day on August 9.
It has been a year. And through it all our students have shown incredible resiliency, passion and dedication. As we near the end, I just want to say thank you to our community for all your support, encouragement and love. To the students and parents in the leadership program, you are a dream to work with and spend time with. You created so much for our campus and community this year and make my job a dream come true.
Katherine Walton, Student Activities Director
We can’t believe the year has come to an end! It’s been a journey for all of us and we feel so honored to have played some small part in the lives of these incredibly resilient and hard-working students. When we re-open in the fall, we look forward to connecting with new students and reconnecting with returning students. After three years, Casey Sasner will say goodbye (with tears and gratitude) as she moves on to an internship at a clinic in San Francisco providing free therapy to folks who need it as part of her journey toward becoming a LMFT. We’ll welcome a new and incredible Intake Specialist who we know students will love. Allen will continue on as the full-time Wellness Coordinator. We will be joined by an amazing new counseling intern team. We wish you peace, joy, and wellness this summer. Please see our Guide to Summer Resources here. (CS 5/20 @2:20)
