Friday Night Lights! The Acalanes Pep band will be performing at our home football game this Friday, Sept 18, as well as Friday, Sept 25, Friday, Oct 16 and Friday, Nov 6.GO DONS! 
Come hear the Jazz Ensemble and Choir at the Art and Wine Festival! On Saturday, Sept 19 and Sunday, Sept 20, the Acalanes Choir, Jazz Ensemble and some members of the orchestra and band will represent Acalanes at the Lafayette Art and Wine Festival! The Acalanes Choir will perform on Saturday, Sept 19 from 11:15-11:30am and the Acalanes Jazz Ensemble will perform on Sunday, Sept 20 from 1:00-1:30pm on the Community Stage! Come out to support our talented musicians!

Come experience the award-winning San Francisco brass band at their opening season concert on Saturday, Sept 12 in the Acalanes High School Performing Arts Center at 7:00 PM. The Acalanes High School brass ensemble will join the brass band during their final selection for a side-by-side performance!

Fall Play Auditions Continue on Tuesday, Aug 25!
- Visit the Drama Room for additional details including signing up for Auditions.
- Auditions are by appointment on Tuesday, Aug 25.
- You will audition with a monologue (provided in the audition packet).
- All Acalanes students are eligible.
- No singing required.
- The play runs Wednesday, Oct 21 through Saturday, Oct 24.

Concert Attire Donations: If your student has concert attire they no longer need, please consider donating it to the Second Movement Thrift Stop. We accept gently used:
- Black concert dresses (from the past 4-5 years)
- Black tuxes, suits, dress jackets
- Black dress pants, black skirts (below knee)
- White, black, french blue button-down dress shirts
- White, black, french blue sleeved blouses
- Black ties (bow or regular), cumberbunds
- Black dress shoes
- Pearl necklaces

Please join us on Friday, May 15 for an evening of fantastic jazz performances at the Jazz Cafe at Stanley Middle School. Our instrumental Dons from the Acalanes Jazz Ensemble and Acalanes Jazz Combo are role models for the Stanley jazz bands who will also perform. Bring the entire family and settle in for a fabulous evening that will feature an array of performances from multiple bands and age ranges. This is a wonderful event for our community that is not to be missed!
