Prior to joining NOAA in January 2021, Dr. Hyun spent four years at the National Audubon Society where she served as the Vice President for Coastal Conservation, as well as Director of Water and Coastal Policy. She has championed conservation issues across the Executive Branch, including the Fish, Wildlife, and Parks at the Department of the Interior, the Secretary of Commerce, and the Natural Resources Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Students compete in 13 categories that recognize students’ skills both within and outside the classroom. Awards are given in every category!

Project LPIE is an annual event that highlights Acalanes High School students for their project-based learning in 13 categories both within and outside the curriculum.
