Acalanes is back in full swing and our sophomores now have their HoCo theme! Please encourage your kids to participate in all things HoCo over the next few weeks (see below for more info).
Back to School Night is Thursday, Aug 28. This evening is a chance for you to meet your student’s teachers and experience a day in the life of our students – you don’t want to miss it! Be sure to print it out and write down your student’s schedule and room numbers so you know where to go.
Snack Shack Help for THIS Friday, Aug 29. We’re still in need of volunteers for THIS Friday’s snack shack! Please sign up here to help for the football team’s first home game. (Snack shack signups for October 3 and 31 also coming soon).
Class of 2028 Parent Social is Thursday, Sept 4. RSVP here to enjoy some artisan pizza while getting to know some of your fellow class of 2028 parents. We look forward to seeing you there!
First HoCo Student Work Party is Aug 31 from 1-4 pm at Acalanes. Prep is now underway for HoCo week, which kicks off on Sept 28 with hallway decorations and ends with the HoCo dance on Oct 4! Please encourage your student to join the fun on Aug 31 and come help prepare our class’s HoCo hallway decorations! If your student can’t make this work party, stay tuned for future dates. Let’s show these other classes what the sophomores can do!
Lafayette Art and Wine Festival Volunteers Needed on Saturday, Sept 20. Please sign up here to help with one of our biggest fundraisers for our students! Sophomore class parents are traditionally in charge of the main ticket booth at the festival so it’s our turn to step up for our school! It’s always a fun time and you can enjoy the festival before or after your shift.
Please contribute to our class of 2028 activity fund here, all proceeds go towards sophomore class social events and Class of 2028 senior activities.
