Students playing AHS sports in the spring session need a 2.0+ GPA to stay eligible to participate. The 3rd quarter grades will be used to determine eligibility and will be checked at the end of the week of March 14.
Summer School Applications Available
If your student has D or F grades from past semesters and they want to make them up, they can enroll in our Summer Schoolprogram. F grades in required classes need to be made up, D grades can be made up to stay 4-year college eligible. Please have your student see their counselor to sign up.

Your student has an appointment scheduled with their counselor this week to turn in their course selection form and review classes in Aeries. This appointment is on the white label on their course selection sheet. This is a five-minute appointment. Please make sure your student remembers this appointment, and meets with their counselor in the Library.

Class Schedules
Students cannot start a new class after Monday, Aug 24. Students may still drop a class (depending on credits and remaining schedule) until the end of the first quarter.
Attention Seniors
Counselors will start meeting with seniors individually in September to talk about post-high school planning. We are also working with Ms. Reicher, from our College and Career Center, on a presentation for seniors and their families about the college application process and how we can help you. Stay tuned for that in early September.
Transcripts
For seniors ordering transcripts to be sent to colleges for applications, we will start processing those around September 15. We are updating the school profile information. To request a transcript for college apps, have your list of colleges updated on Naviance and pay the $5 fee for official transcripts on the webstore. Mrs. Finn, the registrar, will process requests. If you absolutely need an official transcript before then, contact Mrs. Finn. Students can review unofficial transcripts in Aeries.

We hope our Dons are settling in and getting ready for our first week of Distance Learning starting tomorrow. As we mentioned last week, please note the slight adjustments to the counselor assignments. We had to adjust to make the distribution more even. The schedule change request form will be open until Friday, August 21. Students need to use their @auhsdschools.org to use the form. As always, the priority is fixing errors and everything is subject to space available. Students will be notified via email if there is a change. Please follow the schedule that is in Aeries.
