2025-26 Volunteer Service Awards Program
Volunteer Service Awards Program
The Acalanes Parents Club (APC) proudly supports the annual community service awards program at Acalanes High School through financial contributions and parent volunteers.
Students can earn awards based on the number of service hours completed. These awards are excellent additions to college applications and resumes, showcasing a student’s commitment to community involvement.
In 2024–25, AHS students volunteered an impressive 16,580 hours across 480 organizations. As a result:
- 114 students earned the Acalanes Community Service Award
- 104 students earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award
- 12 students earned the Excellence in Service Award
The APC supports student community service efforts by:
- Providing parent volunteer oversight of the program
- Accrediting AHS as a PVSA Certifying Organization
- Funding Helper Helper, the student volunteer tracking app
- Purchasing award certificates for qualifying students
