HOCO Week is HERE and we kick it off today with HOCO Hallway Decorating!
HOCO Week Important Notes:
- There are tons of activities this week for your student, from dress-up days to inner-tube waterpolo. Check out this doc for all things HOCO!
- HOCO Hallway Decorating and Walk-through is TODAY. Please encourage your students to come help any time between 10:00am-3:00pm. There will be lots to do and it’s an exciting time for the students to see it all come together! We’d also love for you to join us for the community walk-through between 5:00-6:00pm!
- Watch the HOCO Rally this Friday at 10:00am via Livestream! This rally is a special school community event and thanks to Acalanes Boosters, you’ll be able to watch it live this year via Hudl. Tune in here to see the student’s hard work and creativity shine in their skits!
- Snack Shack Help for THIS Friday, Oct 3. We could really use some help! Sign up here to help in the snack shack for the HOCO football game. It’s such an exciting night with an extra electric vibe so the shifts will be really fun!
- Canned Food Drive runs through Oct. 3. Please consider contributing to the HOCO Canned Food Drive. You can drop off food (certain items count for extra points) at the flagpole or contribute online here. Sophomores earn HOCO points with your donation and it’s a great opportunity to help our community with food insecurity.
- Saturday, Oct 4, from 7:00-9:30pm: Homecoming Dance & Party. Check out the HOCO doc for all the activities, including games, food trucks, dancing and more. Students can buy their tickets here.
Parent Volunteers Needed During Lunch. We are looking for volunteers to oversee the student lunch line in the cafeteria on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. This is a really fun and easy way to volunteer on campus and a great opportunity to volunteer with a friend! Volunteer shifts are less than an hour, and there are lots of dates to choose from.
