Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! We are so excited to see everyone at Dons Day and throughout the first week. We have an exciting August & September planned! As always, if there is anything we can do for you or your student, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to connect students with activities & interests.
 
ASB Cards
ASB Cards drive student activities at Acalanes and provide benefits to the students! If you have yet to purchase ASB, please consider it. ASB is $100 and when your student receives their ID card, their ASB purchase will be indicated on the ID card. ASB benefits include: free admission to athletic games, discounts to local businesses, discounts to the Welcome Back & Homecoming dances (savings of $30) and a free spirit shirt (pick up tomorrow). Thank you for your support!
 
Class Shirts
Thank you to all who have purchased a class shirt. It is not too late to order one via the webstore. Shirts are $20 and a great fundraiser for your class. The last day to purchase a shirt is Thursday, Aug 11. Shirts will be handed out the week of Aug 22 at lunch.
 
Spiritwear orders
Tomorrow is the last day to place your order for spiritwear! All proceeds benefit the classes and spiritwear will be available for pick-up the week of Aug 29. You will receive an email with more information about pick-up.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!  Counselors have been hard at work scheduling students into classes.  We will be at Dons Day on Monday, Aug 8 to hand out official schedules to students.  We look forward to seeing all of you!
 
Schedule Change Requests
Students may request a schedule change starting on the 3rd day of school (Thursday, Aug 11), and ending on the 10th day (Monday, Aug 22). We will have a google form made available that students may use to request a change. We will post changes made on our office window throughout this time period.

LPIE

Welcome Back to LPIE!

Summer may be over, but the fun is just beginning! Join your friends - and make some new ones - on the patio at Metro this Friday, Aug 12 from 6-7pm when LPIE will be hosting a free event for all Lafayette parents and the community. Let’s raise a glass to celebrate the 2022-23 school year! Hope to see you there!
 
LPIE’s mission is to support and enrich the education of every child in the Lafayette public schools. “Every child” is the key part of our message because your donations to LPIE are distributed across the schools on a per pupil basis - no matter what school your child attends, they receive the same high quality programs, access to technology, books, elective classes at Stanley, AP and elective classes at Acalanes, and classroom supplies as every other student.

Monday, Aug 8 Fall sports begin. All students must complete the Athletic Clearance on Sportsnet to attend tryouts or practices.

General Administration Announcements

ALL Chromebooks and textbooks need to be returned ASAP. If you missed last week’s opportunities, please bring any outstanding items to the Acalanes Main Office Tuesday, May 31 through Friday, June 3 between the hours of 9am to 3pm.

APC in Action

Please click 2022-2023 REVISED Directory Form  and complete your Directory information. You do NOT want to miss this opportunity to be part of the AHS Student/Family Directory as we are collecting all data NOW.
 
APC is again making the 2022-2023 Directory available in its traditional spiral bound booklet format. (A non-paper version will be available for those who prefer an electronic format). Both versions of the directory will be available to all APC members at Back to School Night on August 25.
