T-shirts are coming!! The Open House/Course Preview is this Thursday, Jan 30 and we will be at a table near the PAC with our new “All are Welcome” t-shirts for sale. Please stop by and pick one up along with a free sticker.

Our next Campus Culture Committee meeting is tomorrow, Jan 27. Parents and caregivers of currently enrolled students are invited to attend at 6pm online. Please email us to be added to the event.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Day is an international memorial day that commemorates the victims of the Holocaust, which resulted in the genocide of one third of the Jewish people, along with countless members of other minorities, by Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1945.

Lunar New Year is the beginning of a new year based on lunar calendars or, informally but more widely, lunisolar calendars. Lunar calendars follow the lunar phase while lunisolar calendars follow both the lunar phase and the time of the solar year. The event is celebrated by numerous cultures in various ways at diverse dates. Over the next few weeks we will highlight some of them here. We hope you encourage your students to join in some of the celebrations that will be happening on campus.

If you’d like to be a part of the upcoming 2025 celebrations, such as Black Excellence Month and Lunar New Year, please contact the DEIB committee here.

Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook to keep up to date with what the students are doing to celebrate all of these wonderful cultures and special dates.
