As a campus, we are lucky to be bringing back Breaking Down the Walls for all 10th and 11th graders. It is a wonderful program funded by APC for students to build relationships with one another, break down barriers between them and truly start to understand each other. Feedback from last year was extremely positive. All 10th and 11th graders are participating and the alpha breakdown is as follows:
- Wednesday, Jan 22: Last Names A-Go
- Thursday, Jan 23: Last Names Gr-O
- Friday, Jan 24: Last Names P-Z

Is your student a senior? Make sure to remind them to attend the lunch meeting Monday (tomorrow) in room 314 to play senior dodgeball. Senior dodgeball, in it’s 2nd year, is a tradition not to be missed. Students form teams of 12 (11 seniors + 1 staff member) and play over 3 days in November.
Wednesday Unified Sports plays at Heritage High School at Lunch.
Is your student a freshman? Remind them to come out to capture the flag on Thursday at lunch. New Crew leaders will be out there playing alongside with them. Great way to spend a lunch period.
Order deadline extended to gather a few more last minute orders! Order a personalized 6th Man jersey by Wednesday October 16th to wear to any athletic event including basketball! Jerseys can be customized with last name and graduation year on the back. Check them out-they are awesome! Jerseys take 4-5 weeks in production.
Come out to the home football game wearing lavender (universal color for cancer) and support our community as we do our part to tackle cancer. Together with Campolindo, we will have a tailgate before the game, and posters that people can decorate honoring someone who has had cancer (these will be hung around the stadium). Acalanes & Campo have teamed up to design a long sleeve shirt with “Lamorinda Tackles Cancer.” It is on sale at lunch for $20.
