Much Ado about Shakespheare

Oregon Shakespeare Festival Fieldtrip

Acalanes Drama Boosters and Mr. Meehan have organized a Memorial Day weekend fieldtrip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. This exceptional educational experience will be offered to 12 Juniors or Seniors in Advanced Drama. (participation will open to other stagecraft and drama students if spots are not filled by advanced drama)

Trip Details:

  • May 25-28, 2012
  • Cost will be $275 per person including 3 chaperones. Fee must be paid in full to secure your spot. First come, first served.
  • The fee is non-refundable unless another student can be found to take your child's spot.
  • Transportation will be in personal vehicles
  • Lodging at The Village Suites in Ashland
  • Breakfast included, participants are responsible for lunch and dinner

Deliver a check for $275, payable to "APAB Drama" to Ed Meehan. First come, first served!

Congratulations to the Acalanes Jazz Ensemble for receiving Superior Ratings at the following jazz festivals this past year:

  • - College of San Mateo Jazz Festival (Unanimous Superior & highest score)
  • - San Ramon Valley Invitational Jazz Festival (Unanimous Superior & highest score)
  • - CMEA Jazz Festival (Unanimous Superior Rating & Award)
  • - Folsom Jazz Festival (Unanimous Superior & First Place Trophy)

Congratulations to Bella Voce for their acceptance into the 2012 Golden State Women's Choir Competition. Participation in this competition recognizes them as one of the top ten Women's Choirs in Northern California.
