Last Big Push for Escrip Recycling Drive
Don't forget to deposit your Escrip recyclables in the counseling office this week to finish off our big drive. This program is FREE and provides a convenient location for collecting laser, ink jet cartridges, used cell phones, iPods, laptops, digital cameras and GPS devices while raising funds for our school.
How the program works: A collection bin, clearly marked and accessible during normal school hours, will be placed in the counseling office. You can drop off your items whenever it's convenient for you. Periodically, our school will ship the items collected at our school to eScrip Recycling. They will then deposit funds electronically in our groups' account! We would like to challenge the Acalanes community to kick off this years recycling program with our big drive beginning January 25 through February 10.
After February 10, our collection box will be moved to an interior office area, inaccessible to the general public, in order to accommodate the counseling office during the rush of incoming freshman and their parents. For any future drop offs, please ask office staff to assist you or contact Victoria Bjerke, Escrip coordinator @ VABjerke@aol.com or Kathy Hamilton, Fundraising coordinator at katsvetmail@yahoo.com to facilitate further recycling throughout the year.
